SecureShred - Secure Off-site Destruction Services
Off-site shredding from secureshred is an ideal solution for companies, government departments, and organizations which need ongoing, verified destruction of sensitive paper documents. This cost-effective service incorporates proven standard operating procedures that ensure secure and reliable service.
With off-site shredding, we place locked containers at desired locations in your facility, and your employees can deposit sensitive information as a part of their normal day to day business activities. We pick up the containers on a regular schedule that reflects your needs, or, if so desired, we can empty the containers when you call in for service. We then transport the materials to one of our facilities and shred them — securely, reliably, and in a manner friendly to the environment.
With off-site secure destruction services, every step is executed with security in mind. ensures the safe-guard of your material from the time of pickup at your location, through secure transport, container handling and final destruction.
We provide secure, lockable Schaefer bins and DuraFlex Consoles to keep materials secure in your facility, before bringing them to our facility for final destruction.
All staff members are security-screened, sign an "Oath of Confidentiality", and are trained extensively in the handling of private and confidential information in accordance with provincial and federal privacy laws including The Health Information Protection Act (HIPA) and The Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
Quality, high-throughput Allegheny shredders are used to destroy confidential paper as well all computer media (magnetic tape, CDs/DVDs, floppy disks and memory keys, computer hard drives, point-of-sale terminals and handheld electronic devices. High-security S.E.M. disintegrators are used to destroy paper, microfiche and microfilm. The disintegrator may be equipped with a variety of screen sizes from 3/4" down to 3/32" to meet the specific security needs of the client. Residual shredded materials from the Allegheny and S.E.M. shredders are conveyed to a baling press for recyclable recovery.
